Senior Vice President Sydney Gever Recognized Among The 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds in 2024

We are proud to share that our colleague Sydney Gever has been recognized among the 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds in 2024 by The Hedge Fund Journal and EY.  Sydney, a Senior Vice President at H/Advisors Abernathy, is the first professional from an external communications firm to be named to the list.

The Hedge Fund Journal’s “50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds” report is published in association with EY and recognizes “exceptionally talented high achievers in the hedge fund industry.” Since 2009, the Hedge Fund Journal has surveyed alternative asset management firms globally to support the steady and continuing growth of women in senior roles throughout the industry.

Sydney works with U.S. based hedge funds, global investment firms and their managers on media relations, investor communications and public positioning initiatives that advance and protect their reputations, at times in partnership with the global H/ Advisors network. This recognition highlights her investor-first approach to supporting managers at all stages of their life cycles: new funds preparing to launch, smaller managers looking to build an external profile for the first time as they build a track record, and well-established firms looking to safely reshape their external profiles as their businesses evolve.
