Blair Hennessy
Blair Hennessy has over a decade of experience providing strategic communications counsel to executive leadership teams and Boards of Directors at both public and private clients across a variety of industries. With a focus on protecting and enhancing corporate reputation during critical events, she has experience advising clients on a wide range of communications matters, including both special situations, as well as long-term corporate positioning programs.
Blair has counseled dozens of clients on special situations, including mergers and acquisitions, crises and issues management, litigation, leadership transitions and governance matters. She has deep M&A experience advising companies on complex transactions including spin offs, contested and hostile situations. In addition, she leads many ongoing profile-raising and reputation management programs for U.S. and multi-national clients.
Blair’s representative M&A experience includes advising Novo Holdings on its $16.5 billion acquisition of Catalent; Comcast on its spinoff of select cable television networks; Truist on its sale of Truist Insurance Holdings for $15.5 billion to an investor group led by Stone Point Capital and CD&R; Healthpeak on its merger of equals with Physicians Realty Trust for $21 billion; Symbotic on its SPAC transaction with Softbank-backed SVFC Investment Corp. 3 and subsequent public listing; C&S Wholesale Grocers as a proposed divestiture buyer of 579 stores from Kroger and Albertsons; and B-Flexion on the sale of Boston Pharmaceuticals’ lead asset to GSK for $1.2 billion.
Blair graduated from the University of Richmond with a B.A. in Leadership Studies and a minor in Law and the Liberal Arts.
