Angela Gonzalez-Rodriguez
Angela Gonzalez-Rodriguez leads H/Advisors Abernathy’s Marketing department, overseeing the firm’s marketing strategy and corporate brand. A seasoned strategic communications and integrated marketing advisor, she draws from over fifteen years of world-class experience in media, international relations, public affairs and corporate communications to ensure alignment of marketing and business goals to support growth.
Before joining H/Advisors Abernathy, Angela held senior roles in global integrated marketing and content strategy for leading technology and AI public companies and startups, led content, digital and social media strategy for top global brands including Apple, Xbox, L’Oreal, Max Factor, Mercedes-Benz and ABF; drove key public information and public affairs campaigns for global and local government agencies and has advised some of the world’s largest financial institutions on their corporate communications initiatives across the Americas, APAC and MENA regions. A journalist by trade, Angela has managed editorial teams and covered breaking news as a financial reporter and foreign correspondent for leading media in Europe, Americas and the Middle East.
She received her dual M.S. in Journalism and Integral Communications from Francisco de Vitoria University, Spain, and graduated in European Studies & Business Communications from Haagse Hogeschool, The Netherlands. Angela earned a Certificate in Business Excellence, Marketing Leadership, from Columbia Business School, is a certified digital strategy practitioner by the UK Institute of Practitioners of Advertising and a member of the American Marketing Association.
