Amy Feng has over 25 years of experience in financial and strategic communications. A former Wall Street sell-side analyst, she leverages her strategic communications background, public company board and in-house IR experience and financial analysis expertise to advise C-suite executives, founders, board directors, IROs, and communications executives on critical communications matters surrounding mergers and acquisitions, shareholder activism, initial public offerings, spin-offs and divestitures, investor relations, leadership transitions, cyber and physical crises, litigation and more.

Amy is Chair of the Board, Chair of the Compensation and member of the Audit Committees at Whitestone REIT (NYSE: WSR); a Member of the Advisory Board at privately held Cro Metrics, a Board Member of National Investor Relations Institute New York chapter and a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). She started her career in strategic communications at H/Advisors Abernathy in Los Angeles in 2007.

Over the past two decades, she has served in executive positions at leading strategic communications firms, growing their presence in key markets across North America, with a focus on financial communications, special situations and strategic stakeholder engagement. Prior to rejoining H/Advisors Abernathy in 2025, Amy led the global investor relations function at Shopify and was Managing Director and Senior Research Analyst at JMP Securities and Equity Research Senior Analyst at Lehman Brothers, where she published original research and sector analysis on hundreds of companies across tech-related industries. In each of her roles, Amy has advised executives and corporate Boards on a wide range of critical issues, helping them elevate their performance and create long-term value.

She has supported clients across a wide spectrum of industries and market capitalizations pertaining to shareholder activist defense, M&A, corporate governance, leadership transitions, Investor Days, elevation of the investment narrative and more. Clients advised include Applied Materials, Bio-Rad, Cadence, Cedar Fair, Cingulate, Cypress Semiconductor, Fisker Automotive, Gilead, Identiv, Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Kansas City Southern Railroad, Macerich, QuidelOrtho, Standard BioTools, and many others.

Amy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Chemistry from Cornell University; a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley; and an MBA from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. She also holds the NACD Directorship Certified Designation certification.  A regular speaker at industry events on investor relations, shareholder activism, financial communications and issues management, Amy is a guest lecturer at the University of Southern California Annenberg School of Communications.
